Donations to Retail Shops: prohibited items

The following items cannot be sold, or are prohibited to be sold at EHAAT charity shops:

Alcohol
Baby car seats
Baby mattresses
Beds
Buoyancy aids, lifejackets inflatable dinghies (unless new and boxed)
Crash helmets
Crossbows
Cushions (without a fire label)
Disabled toilet aids
Duvets and old pillows
Fireworks
Furniture: beds, 3 piece suites or other large items of furniture
Gas appliances and oil lamps
Gas bottles/canisters, lighters and cigarette lighter refills
Guns, bullets (ammunition) and replicas guns (unless obviously toys)
Home recorded CDs videos and tapes
Knives, sharps, daggers, swords
Medication including vitamins
Perishable goods – food and drink
Pirate DVDs and CDs (copied\fake)
Riding hats
Safety harnesses (all types)
Soft toys without CE mark
Upholstered furniture (without a fire label)
White goods (fridges freezers cookers etc.)
