Essex & Herts Air Ambulance’s (EHAAT) Heli Hounds walk at Little Hadham on Sunday 14th October was a success despite poor weather, with dozens of dog owners supporting the event in aid of their local life-saving Charity.

The fundraising event, which saw participants tackling a three-mile walk followed by a Dog Show with a range of classes, also included demonstrations by TV Dog behaviourist Dima Yeremenko.

The venue for the event was the Charity’s Hertfordshire Fundraising Office at Church End, Little Hadham just off the A120.

Volunteer & Events Lead Jen Wall said:

We would like to thank everyone who signed up to take part and walk man’s best friend in support of their local life-saving charity. Money is still coming in, but we hope to have raised several thousand pounds by the time it has all been received, so well done everyone!

As well as some amazing displays from Dima Yeremenko, who has worked with the likes of Paul O’Grady and Noel Fitzpatrick, everyone really enjoyed the dog agility sessions with Red Dog Training School. We’re really grateful to the Hertfordshire Police Cadets who turned out to help us.”

Anyone interested in taking part in EHAAT’s Spring Heli Hounds can register their interest here.
