On Saturday 15th June entertainers will be out in force to raise funds for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) at a ‘Entertainment Pop-up’ in Stevenage Town Centre, close to the charity’s recently-opened shop at Stevenage Indoor Market.

Between 10am and 4pm visitors to the Town Square will be entertained by a performers who are volunteering their time on behalf of EHAAT. One of EHAAT’s helicopters will perform a flyover of the event at 1.30pm, subject to operational requirements.

The line-up for the day includes local community choir ‘Somewhere 2 Sing’, children’s entertainer and magician ‘Captain Fantastic’ as well as an aerial dance performance from Herts Dance & Fitness.

Face painters will be available, there will be a children’s tombola and EHAAT mascot ‘Doctor Dani’ will be present.

Jeannie Philip, Fundraising Coordinator at EHAAT said: “Our Pop-up days are always really popular and once again we have a fantastic line-up ready to entertain the people of Stevenage. It’s a great opportunity for visitors to the town to take a break, have some fun and learn about our life-saving work.

“As a charity, we depend on the support we get from the people of Essex and Hertfordshire, so events like this are a great chance to get out and say thanks to those who already support us and introduce ourselves to people who might like to help us.”
