National Volunteers’ Week
1 June 2022

As National Volunteers’ Week draws to a close, we are keen to show our appreciation for all of the amazing work our volunteers do! Here is a short thank-you video from the team here at Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT).
This National Volunteers’ Week we are celebrating our team of over 400 amazing volunteers. We are extremely grateful and appreciative of everything they do and without them we wouldn’t be able to operate as a charity.
The past 12 months have been challenging, but through it all and when restrictions allowed many of our volunteers continued to help us with all manner of activities from helping in our charity shops, collecting tins through to giving talks over zoom to groups, societies and clubs.
With restrictions easing further our volunteers are keen to get back out in the field, quite literally! The team is looking forward to pitching gazebos for information stands, coming back into our offices and airbases and reaching out to the local community to raise awareness and vital funds for our wonderful Charity.
Thank you to all of our volunteers and if you are thinking of joining us, now is the perfect time and we would love to hear from you!
