On 27^th May 2018 an Essex & Herts Air Ambulance was tasked to assist EEAST and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), with a female patient medical emergency. Teams worked together on scene to optimise patient outcome. The patient was transferred to a specialist hospital for ongoing treatment.

Donating every month would pay for a colorimetric carbon dioxide detector used with every patient that undergoes pre-hospital anaesthesia.

Donating every month would pay for 2 blood pressure cuffs required to monitor blood pressure, an important vital sign when managing critical patients.

Donating every month would cover the cost of a pelvic splint used to reduce bleeding in pelvic fractures.

Donating £50 a month for 12 months can buy a splint to provide traction to broken long bones.

Can buy a Cat tourniquet to stop a major arterial bleed from a limb.

Can buy a sling to stabilise a patient’s pelvis and reduce bleeding.

Can buy a splint to provide traction to broken long bones.

£75 can buy a pair of safety boots for a Doctor or Critical Care Paramedic.
