Last year, we were dispatched to 2,132 missions, including road traffic collisions, medical emergencies, accidental injuries and other trauma incidents. We depend on the generosity of our supporters to continue delivering a first-class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. It costs in excess of £1,000,000 every month to cover all charitable costs, with an average mission cost of £2,800.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance is not part of the NHS. We receive limited government funding and do not have access to National Lottery funding. As a charity, we rely on the generosity and kindness of people and businesses across Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
It costs in excess of £1,000,000 every month to remain operational, delivering a free first-class pre-hospital emergency medical service for critically ill and injured patients.
