Recognising the women raising the bar at EHAAT

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we want to pay tribute to all of the incredible women at Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT). From our pre-hospital care doctors and paramedics to our trustees, executive team, fundraisers, volunteers, supporters and the wider charity team, we are proud to have so many talented, innovative and inspirational women driving us forward.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2023 is #EmbraceEquity, ensuring fair treatment, opportunities, and access for all people. At EHAAT, we actively strive to create an inclusive workplace culture where everyone feels valued and supported. We believe diverse teams are essential for innovation and progress, and we are committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, religion, or background.

Our mission is to save lives across Essex and Hertfordshire, delivering a free first-class pre-hospital emergency medical service to those who need us most, but we wouldn’t be able to continually raise the bar without the amazing women demonstrating an unwavering commitment to our cause, passion for making a difference, and ability to lead by example.

“I would like to just say, from me to all the wonderful women out there, happy International Women’s Day! Let’s celebrate.” Jane Gurney, CEO of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
