COVID-19 – Important update
As of 05/01/2021…
Stay Home, Protect the NHS and save lives
Following the national announcement by the government on 04/01/2021 in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic within England, we will be taking the following measures in line with the national lockdown to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers, supporters and members of the public.
Our charity offices are now closed, staff will continue to work from home until Government guidance is changed to allow staff to return to our Earls Colne and Church End offices.
We would like to thank you for your ongoing support over the last few difficult months, your support allows us to be there for those who need us most.
Following the announcement by the Government on 4th January, all our charity shops will remain closed. We have also made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend our click and collect service. We hope to welcome you back to our shops once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
We will also be suspending our collection service, until further notice.
Our Stevenage warehouse will not be accepting donations, following government guidance to stay home, only leaving for essential travel.
Please do not leave donations outside our premises as we will not be able to process them and we may have to pay for them to be disposed of.
We will continue to list items for sale on our eBay site. You can find the latest items for sale here.
PS If you are considering donating to us in the future, please check the list of items we are unable to accept.
Continuing from our statement on Saturday 19th December 2020, canvassers will not be canvassing on both a door to door basis and at venues throughout Essex and Hertfordshire. The decision to recommence will depend on future announcements from the Government.
You can still join our lottery via our sign up page on our website: ehaat.org/lottery
We thank you for your ongoing support, during these exceptionally difficult times. Your continued support allows us to be there for those who need us most.
