Celebrating 20 years of our Motorcycle Run!
19 September 2019
On a sunny Sunday earlier this month, over 3,500 bikers traveled to Ford, Dunton to take part in the 20th anniversary Motorcycle Run and Harwich Family Fun Day.
This year we had potentially our youngest participant ever. Ivy came along with her Dad, Robert. We think they look great in our limited edition t-shirts!
We met Steve, who told us why he was taking part in the Motorcycle Run.

The riders traveled in convoy for 60 miles, finishing at Harwich Green, where they were waved through by hundreds of supporters who had come along to enjoy the Family Fun Day.
Supporters danced to music performed by Faux Fighters UK and ProtoStereo, enjoyed some food, browsed the stalls and took a look around our AW169.
Over the last twenty years this event has developed into a really special community day and one of our key fundraising events of the year.
We are still counting the money raised, but currently we are at £35,000. If we reach £40,000, this would be enough to fund 18 potentially life-saving missions!
